Dental Services We Offer

At Lower Earley Family Dental, we offer a variety of services to suit everyone. Please find below a list of some of the most common dental services we offer, although keep in mind that this isn’t an exhaustive list, so feel free to contact us if you have any questions about a more specialist dental service that isn’t listed below, or if you’d simply like more information.

Dental Examination

As a local family dentist, we’re proud to offer routine dental check-ups to absolutely everyone, regardless of age.

Crowns and Veneers

A crown is a small cap that fits on top of a damaged tooth, improving its appearance and protecting it from any further damage. These are custom-made to fit your tooth, out of either metal or porcelain to match the colour of your teeth and blend in completely.

Veneers are a way to protect and repair stained, chipped or misaligned teeth by attaching a thin layer of porcelain to the front surface of the tooth. This improves the appearance and protects from further damage.

Root Canal

If you’re struggling with severe tooth damage, tooth decay, toothache or a damaged fillings, then root canal surgery may be what you need. At Lower Earley Family Dental, we recognise that the dentist can be an unpleasant place for many.

Scale and Polish

We offer a range of general dental hygiene services, including scale and polish, deep cleans, and tailored advice, including techniques to help you maintain good dental hygiene at home.

Orthodontics

If you feel that your teeth need straightening, we offer orthodontic services, including clear aligner treatment to help get you the straight, beautiful smile you deserve!

Composite Bonding

Composite bonding is a non-invasive method of repairing minor damage or gaps within your teeth using a composite resin, precisely matched to the colour of your teeth.

White Fillings

There are many reasons why you may need a dental filling, including chipping, tooth decay, acid erosion or worn-down teeth. The expert dental professionals at Lower Earley Family Dental will be able to tell you exactly what steps to take should you need a filling.

Tooth Removal and Surgical Extractions

If your tooth is damaged or decayed to the point where repair is no longer possible, it may be necessary to remove the tooth. Tooth removal will always be considered a last resort to us, as removing a tooth is an irreversible surgery.

After having a tooth removed, you may need either a dental implant, dental bridge or dentures to fill the space left. This is not for cosmetic reasons alone, as having a gap in your teeth can lead to unnecessary strain on neighbouring teeth. It may also have a significant effect on your bite, and increase your risk of gum disease.
